Collage.

Started making another collage this morning;
I think this one is more suitable for the
'Pray for Japan' project.

I'm sorry for the poor quality of the photos,
really need a more sophisticated camera.
And maybe a tripod.
later :^)

Goodnight.

Weaving.

This is what you need:
A worn out basket, some plastic bags in the colours
you like, a large darning needle and a pair of scissors
to cut the plastic strips.
then...

you start weaving, only there where the basket is
worn out.
First in one direction, then...

in the opposit direction.
You can see on the photo that there are still some
weak parts, so...

you cut another strip from a soft plastic bag, like
those you find in the Turkish greengrocer's for example,
and do some additional stitches, only there where
it is needed.

Don't bother about the inside, that is of minor
importance :^)

About gradients.

Some pages from the graphic issue #15 (autumn 2010)
with a nice Karel Martens interview and beautiful
photos of his atelier.

The potholder interventions are mine; I was trying another
gradient from cream to light yellow and I finished with
old pink and indigo, but the indigo looks black
on the photo, too bad.

The goat gradient :^)
Mad about that body ball too!

New life.

Isn't that a curious pattern for a fungus!
I must say I like the design, but I'm afraid it
will harm my rosemary; what shall I do;
any experts here?

The first photo is a piece of painted silk; to get
that pattern, you only have to sprinkle some salt
on the wet paint; the colours start to blend as a
matter of course.

Goodnight.
